What is the Senior Network Engineer Role?
The Senior Network Engineer at Pepkor IT is responsible for overseeing the networking team’s technical functions, ensuring operational activities are coordinated and maintaining architectural oversight.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates with a tertiary qualification in a related field or equivalent work experience, Cisco certification (CCNA / CCNP), and a minimum of 5 years network support experience are encouraged to apply.
Senior Network Engineer Responsibilities
In your role as a Senior Network Engineer, you will:
- Deploy and maintain hybrid networking infrastructure
- Adhere to procedures and standards
- Complete documentation as required
- Lead technical network incidents
Requirements
Applicants must have a valid unendorsed driver’s license (Code 8 minimum) and be willing to work overtime and standby occasionally.
